History

"During the late 1940’s, several local businessmen and women realized the pressing need for a local community bank. Organized by Mr. T.E. Murphy, the local real estate and insurance agent, and an early director and officer, the bank obtained a state banking charter in April of 1950 with capital and surplus of $65,000.

The original bank’s "downtown corner" location has been expanded twice, quadrupled in size, and its original three employees have grown to fourteen to accommodate the needs and growth of the community and its customers.

I, along with the entire board and bank staff, look forward to serving the fine people of Princeville and the surrounding communities for many, many years to come."

2007 Update

Entering this new year, with all it's upcoming joys and challenges ahead, I'd like to comment on it's future.

We are a locally owned community bank, founded nearly 57 years ago, managed by the third family generation. It operates from the original corner site, and now, with the new branch in Peoria. The newly opened PSB (your Personal Service Bank), located at the Shoppes at Grand Prairie, was added to better serve that area and our existing clients.

Our family, the entire staff, and our board of directors thank you for the opportunity to serve you, and thank you for your trust. May God continue to bless you and our country.
